The Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics invites applications from genuine Bangladeshi citizens for BBS Job Circular 2025 against the following vacant positions under the revenue sector. BBS Job Educational and Other Qualifications
- Assistant Store Keeper: Minimum Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
- Machine Man & Machine Man cum Cleaner:
- Minimum HSC or equivalent from a recognized board.
- At least 2 years of practical experience as an assistant machine man in a recognized printing press.
- Packer:
- Minimum HSC or equivalent from a recognized board.
- At least 2 years of experience in packaging work.
- Chainman:
- Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in the relevant field.
- Office Assistant: Minimum SSC or equivalent from a recognized board.
General Conditions for Application & Examination
- Recruitment will follow the existing government rules, quotas, and the latest amendments.
- As of March 1, 2025, the applicant’s age should be between 18 and 32 years. No affidavit for age verification will be accepted.
- No TA/DA will be provided for written, oral, or practical (if applicable) examinations.
- Candidates must mention their latest educational qualification in the application.
- Candidates cannot apply from a different district than their own.
- The recruitment process will be governed by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics Employee Recruitment Rules, 2019.
- Government, semi-government, and autonomous organization employees must apply with proper approval from the relevant authority. They must submit the original No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the viva exam.
- If applicants do not claim any quota (freedom fighter, ethnic minority, physically challenged, third gender) in the online application, they cannot claim it later.
- Freedom fighter quota applicants must submit a verified copy of the freedom fighter certificate of their parents, issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
- Physically challenged applicants must submit a disability certificate issued by the district social services office. Third-gender applicants must submit a certificate from the civil surgeon.
- Indigenous candidates must provide a certificate issued by the district commissioner.
- Foreign degree holders must submit an equivalence certificate from the relevant equivalence committee.
- Candidates must pass written, practical (if applicable), and viva exams.
- During the viva exam, candidates must present the following original documents along with one set of attested copies:
- Printed copy of the online application form
- Two recent passport-size color photographs
- All educational certificates (original and attested copies)
- National ID (NID) card copy
- Driving license copy (if applicable)
- Citizenship certificate from the Union Parishad Chairman/Mayor/Ward Councilor
- NOC from current employer (for government employees)
- Quota-related certificates (for freedom fighter, indigenous, disabled, third gender applicants)

Admit Card & Exam Information
- Eligible applicants will receive exam notifications via SMS and on the BBS Teletalk website.
- Admit Card must be downloaded, printed in color, and brought to the exam center.
- Candidates can recover their User ID & PIN through the following SMS:
