NAVY Sailor MODC Circular – Vacancy Details
The recruitment includes the following positions:
- DE or UC (Seaman, Communication & Technical): 285 vacancies
- Patrolman: 12 vacancies
- Writer: 18 vacancies
- Store: 18 vacancies
- Medical: 10 vacancies
- Cook: 25 vacancies
- Steward: 13 vacancies
- Topass: 13 vacancies
- MODC (Navy): 7 vacancies
Eligibility Criteria For NAVY Sailor MODC Job
Educational Qualifications
- DE or UC (Seaman, Communication & Technical): SSC or equivalent in Science stream with a minimum GPA of 3.50. Preference will be given to candidates with Higher Mathematics and those who have at least an ‘A’ grade from BN Dockyard Cooperative Society Technical Institute.
- Patrolman, Writer, Store & MODC (Navy): SSC or equivalent in any stream with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Medical: SSC or equivalent in Science with Biology, with a minimum GPA of 3.50.
- Cook & Steward: SSC or equivalent in any stream with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
- Topass: Minimum qualification 8th grade pass.
Physical Requirements For NAVY Sailor MODC Job
- Height:
- Seaman & MODC (Navy): Minimum 5’6”
- Patrolman: Minimum 5’8”
- Other Positions: Minimum 5’4”
- Chest Measurement:
- Normal: 30-32 inches
- Expanded: +2 inches
- Weight: According to height and age standards.
- Vision: 6/6 eyesight required.
Other Requirements
- Must be a Bangladeshi male citizen and unmarried.
- Must know swimming.
- Age Limit:
- Sailor Positions: 17-20 years (as of July 1, 2025)
- MODC (Navy): 17-22 years
Disqualifications
Candidates cannot apply if they:
- Have a criminal record or are under trial in any court.
- Have been dismissed from any armed forces or government job.
- Hold dual citizenship.
