Salary: BDT 1,462,326.00 gross per annum (13 months) with additional benefits including medical coverage for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, and insurance.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time)

Role Overview
The Senior Programme Officer (SPO) will play a key role in managing Just Energy Transition (JET) projects within the Project Management Unit (PMU). The SPO will oversee project planning, financial management, compliance, partner coordination, report writing, and event organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead project cycle management, ensuring adherence to donor and organizational compliance.
- Manage project budgets, financial reporting, and ensure proper fund utilization.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including thematic heads and partner organizations.
- Oversee project risk assessments, reporting, and compliance with humanitarian standards.
- Support knowledge sharing and learning processes within the organization.
- Represent Oxfam in relevant forums and communication initiatives.
- Ensure accountability frameworks and community participation in project decisions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Postgraduate degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Social Science, Business Administration, Disaster Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least five years of professional experience, including three years in project cycle management.
- Knowledge & Expertise:
- Strong understanding of climate and gender justice issues.
- Experience managing Just Energy Transition projects in the RMG sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with feminist principles, community development, and participatory approaches.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills in both English and Bengali.
